Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Information

Our commitment to your safety and well-being.

Our absolute priority is to keep our customers and employees safe. Now that steps are being taken to ease lockdown and more people are travelling, our priorities remain the same.

·         Please do not travel if you are unwell.

·         Please follow the latest government guidelines in the UK and the EU.

·         Vehicles are sanitised, using a method of fogging, undertaken at regular intervals in line with usage, and recorded in the vehicle log.

·         Extra time will be added to journeys for the driver to maintain high levels of hygiene. Please allow more time for expected transfers.

·         Customers will be asked to sit in the rear of the van where possible.

·         Please use the hand gel provided on entering the vehicle.

·         For face coverings, we will be following the up-to-date government guidelines: Masks must be worn within the vehicle to protect the passengers and driver.

·         All the luggage is the responsibility of the passenger to minimise contact.

·         It will be the responsibility of the customer to inform ‘Alpexpress’ if an infection is discovered within a week of travelling.

·         It will be the responsibility of ‘Alpexpress’ to inform any customers requiring action if an infection is discovered.

·         The driver has the overall right to refuse travel if an infection is suspected.

We thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this time.
